Chinese fried rice with Cajun glazed chicken

Hi guys. How are you all doing. Its been a minute. Been cooking meals upon meals. So let me not make you all wait any longer.

Today’s meal feature is chinese special fried rice with tennessee bbq chicken.

Very easy to make and its so finger licking delicious 🙂

Lets get started.

  •  Chicken
  • Cajun bbq sauce
  • 2 Cups of cooked rice
  • Sesame oil
  • Soy sauce
  • Green peas
  • Carrot
  • Chicken breast
  • Shrimps
  • Lean pork
  • Bean sprouts
  • Black pepper
  • Seasoning

  •  Wok
  • Wooden spoon

Ok, lets begin.

For the chicken, wash and remove all hairs on the chicken. Lacerate it kn three places. Brush the pre minced sauce in it and grill. Whilst checking on the chicken keep turning it around and brushing the sauce over it to make it finger licking good!

P.S its better to prepare the fried rice half way to the chicken being grilled. So that its ready about the same time.

This fried rice meal needs cooked rice, not freshly made on the same day, but freshly made from the day before. And then refrigerated. This is what makes it easier to cook in the wok.

Add two tablespoons of sesame oil, add the cooked chicken breast and pork and fry for about 3 minutes to 5 minutes.

Then add the prawns, ensure the prawns have been drained properly after its been pre cooked. This will ensure no water runs while cooking.

Now add the bean sprouts, peas and carrots. Cook for about 1 minute. Add seasoning to it.

Break the cooked rice into small portion and add to the cooked ingredients. Stir well until it’s all incorporated. Add the soy sauce. You can add as much as you want until you have tour desired dark colour. But be careful to taste it, as soy sauce has salt in it 🙂

Mix well and stir fry for 10 – 15 minutes. Give it a final stir and let it simmer for 3 minutes to let the heat go all round.

It’s ready to be served!

Once that’s cooked, dish up your meal and serve!

You can eat it with chopsticks if you are brave enough 😉

That’s it from Me
