Hi guys, How are you all doing?
Today’s recipe will be focusing on breakfast. I haven’t blogged about it in a while. I love pancakes, I really loveeeee pancakes. Its the honey thatbis drizzled on it that does it for me.
I have been using alot of Buttermilk lately. It makes everything moist! 🙂
Enough talking and lets begin.
2 cups of Wholewheat flour
2 tablespoons of baking powder
2 tablespoons of melted butter
2 cups of Buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 tablespoon of Vanilla extract
2 mixing bowls
Rubber spatula (not compulsory )
Prep time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Total time : 30 minutes
Add all the dry ingredients together and mix well.
In another bowl, add the buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and melted butter. Mix welm until all the ingredients are all combined.
Next gradually add the flour mixture into the buttermilk mixture and slowly mix until all the flour has been added.
Mix one last time and make sure all the ingredients are well combined and set aside for 10 minutes. This will allow the baking powder react.
After 10 minutes, heat up a skillet/frying pan, add a tablespoon of oil, once its hot scoop the pancake mixture and cook on each side for about 3 minutes.
Once you notice the bubbles start to form on the surface, flip it over and cook the other side.
Do that repeatedly until all the pancakes are all done.
Now plate up the yummy goodness. Drizzle honey over it and garnish with strawberries and blueberries. 🙂
