Strawberry Daiquiri

Hi guys. Hope you are all doing good?  Valentine is almost here and some of you may thinking of what to serve especially if you are not going out to dinner. Well not to worry, over the next couple of days I will be posting series of dishes, menu ideas and drinks to be served.

For today I will be focusing of drinks. I remember my first time of trying tjis drink, it was at a bridal shower and I loved it the first time I tried it.

Lets begin shall we 🙂

1 cup of strawberries
1 lime
1 litre of sprite

Glass cups

Sliced strawberry

Prep time : 3 minutes
Cooling time: 1hour -3 hours

Remove the pulp from the head of the strawberries, add it to the blender, then add 2 tablespoons of lime and 3 cups of sprite and blend.

Blend until the ingredients are combined.

Next wet the rim pf the glass with water.
Then dip the rim of glass into the sugar. This will give it a crystal like effect. It makes your drink look very appealing (see pictures below)

Finally pour the drink through a sieve into the glass (to help remove the shaft from the strawberries) and then garnish with a slice of strawberry.

That’s it you are done.

Well done.
